Lazio’s Manuel Lazzari remains a target for Inter as the club look for a replacement for the departed Achraf Hakimi.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the club could look to sign the 27-year-old should the opportunity arise.

With Hakimi’s sale to Paris Saint-Germain having been confirmed last week, the Nerazzurri are accelerating the process of looking for a replacement for the Moroccan.

Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin is thought to be the priority option at the moment, though the club face problems convincing the Gunners to allow the player to leave on loan with an option to buy.

Accordingly, the Nerazzurri could turn their attention elsewhere if the operation for Bellerin falls apart, and Lazzari remains a player who the club are monitoring in the hopes that his situation changes and it becomes feasible to bring the Italian in and reunited him with former coach Simone Inzaghi.
