Inter could move for Cagliari’s Nahitan Nandez, with the club continuing to consider the Uruguayan a target for the summer despite links to other clubs for the player.

This according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who report that strong links to Leeds United have faded recently, and that this could open the door for the Nerazzurri to bring the 25-year-old in.

Nandez had been reported as a Nerazzurri target earlier in the window, although it was thought that the club were put off a deal for the player by the finances likely to be involved.

In the meantime Premier League side Leeds United have closely pursued the Cagliari player, with the Yorkshire club thought to be favourites for his signature, although they now appear less likely to sign the Rossoblu player.

With the Nerazzurri already in talks with the Rossoblu over moves for other players, they could bring up Nandez’s situation once again, and it is thought that their interest in him remains.
