Cagliari would be willing to allow midfielder Nahitan Nandez join Inter on loan, but only on the condition that the loan deal include an obligation to buy.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Nerazzurri are still holding their position that they would only like to sign the Uruguayan on loan with a purchase option which is not mandatory.

Nandez is thought to be a target for the Nerazzurri because his versatility would make him a strong option to replace the departed Achraf Hakimi on the ride-sided position in the team.

In recent days it is thought that the Nerazzurri have stepped up their interest in the 25-year-old, making their interest clear to his current club.

The Rossoblu are open to a loan deal, but the Nerazzurri are currently insistent on a deal including only the option of buying the player on a permanent basis, with the club’s financial situation the main factor in their stance.

It remains to be seen whether the two clubs will be able to be brought closer together and reach an agreement in spite of this obstacle, or if the Nerazzurri will be forced to miss out on Nandez.
