Cagliari will pay the entirety of Brazilian left-back Dalbert’s Salary for next season with the Inter player on loan with the Sardinian club.
This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that there is total agreement on the terms of the move and the only delay could be the postponement of the player’s flight to Cagliari, where he will sign his new contract.
The 27-year-old’s salary with the Nerazzurri totals a net of €1.2 million per season, and the club will not be on the hook for any of this amount with the Rossoblu set to be responsible for paying the player.
After the left-back’s move to Trabzonspor fell through over the player’s refusal to move to the Turkish club, Cagliari have stepped in and appear to have gotten the deal done quickly.
Dalbert will join the Sardinians on loan next season, and they will have an option to make the move permanent at the end of the loan.
