Young Inter striker Facundo Colidio has given his thoughts on the return to training with the rest of the senior squad, with the 21-year-old happy to be surrounded by top players.

Speaking to Inter TV, as reported by FCInter1908, the young Argentine describes an atmosphere in which he is learning a lot from the players around him, who have come back after the significant success of last season’s Scudetto triumph.

Colidio returns to the Nerazzurri off the back of two seasons on loan with Belgian side Sint-Truiden, and while his future is unclear he is currently enjoying the opportunity to work alongside the rest of the Nerazzurri squad and head coach Simone Inzaghi.

Even for players who are not necessarily regular members of the squad during the season, the training camp is an excellent place to learn and grow their games on an athletic and tactical level.

Colidio relates his feelings on returning to training:

“It’s always nice to go back to training after the holiday, but above all it’s always nice to go back to Inter. Here there are always great players from whom I can draw inspiration – training with them allows me to improve. Here I also meet up with some team-mates who I had met over the past seasons, it’s stimulating. The objectives are obviously to try to do better, for me and for the team.”

Colidio also talks about the significance of the past two years spent with Sint-Truiden:

“The two years in Belgium were the first two for me on a senior professional level. They were two important seasons that helped me greatly in terms of personal growth and experience
