Inter do not look likely to sign Malmo centre-back Anel Ahmedhodzic, with the club not currently interested in the 22-year-old.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based news outlet Tuttosport, who report that the Bosnian defender is being targeted by clubs outside of Italy, and that Napoli and Atalanta are the two Serie A sides with the keenest interest in his signature.

Ahmedhodzic had been linked to Inter, with the club potentially seeing the young defender as a strong option for the future, but they are not among the clubs most closely following him at this stage.

The Nerazzurri already have three reliable starting center-backs available to Simone Inzaghi, with three backup options in the form of Aleksandar Kolarov, Andrea Ranocchia, and Danilo D’Ambrosio.

Additionally, the club have young Belgian defender Zinho Vanheusden on their books, a player in the same age bracket and position as Ahmedhodzic, a factor which could play in their decision not to pursue the young Bosnian.
