Inter To Play Friendly Against Pro Vercelli Before Departing For Florida Cup, Italian Media Report

Inter will play a pre-season friendly match against Serie C side Pro Vercelli on Wednesday.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri have scheduled the clash for after their opening friendly against Swiss side Lugano but before departing for the US.

The friendly against Lugano will be the first match in which new head coach Simone Inzaghi takes charge of the squad and gives a sense of the tactical setup that he will use heading into competitive action next season.

The encounter with Pro Vercelli will provide one more opportunity for the new manager to test out his ideas and for fans to watch his new-look Inter.

After this match, the Nerazzurri will depart for the US where they will participate in the Florida Cup alongside English clubs Arsenal and Everton and Colombian side Millionarios, which will provide even more insight into what expect next season.
