Inter could be about to reignite their pursuit of Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso as a cheap deal looks very plausible for the Frenchman, according to a report in the German media.

As has been reported by German tabloid Sport Bild, Inter heavily pursued Corentin Tolisso whilst Antonio Conte was still in charge of the club. That interest could now be coming back around as the club look for some more high-quality midfield cover.

In order for Beppe Marotta to make a move for the player though, he will first need to offload two other midfielders. The most likely candidates for this are Arturo Vidal to a South American club and Stefano Sensi to Fiorentina.

Only then will Inter be able to have the financial power to buy Corentin Tolisso, who won the World Cup with France in 2018.

His Bayern Munich contract expires in 2022 which is why a deal may be cheap.
