Inter are set to meet with the agent of Cagliari’s Nahitan Nandez very soon to finalise the personal terms for his move to Inter, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the discussion will likely be going whilst Inter plays their first pre-season friendly against FC Lugano which is this evening.

The move for the Uruguayan is starting to look more and more likely but the nature of the deal is not yet clear. Both parties look open to a season-long loan with an obligation to buy at the end of it.

Cagliari could also decide to sell the player right now and take some of Inter’s players in the process. Radja Nainggolan of course could form part of the deal but he has his own complicated set of finances revolving around severance pay.

Another player who interests Cagliari is Lucien Agoume, most likely on loan.
