Inter could very soon announce the new shirt sponsor for the club after the ending of the Nerazzurri and Pirelli’s 26-year partnership, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Libero, the new snake-skin inspired Inter short could very soon be viewed with a new shirt sponsor across the front rather than the current blank space.

It is already known that the primary sponsor will be a company called Socios, which is a fan engagement platform that already sponsors La Liga side Valencia and Argentinian side Independiente.

The deal could be fully announced and implemented in time for Inter’s pre-season tour of the United States of America that begins on 25th July.

Inter will receive €20 million per season as well as bonuses from Socios. This can be added to the €10 million that Inter receive from Lenovo who sponsor the back of the shirts.

Together this means Inter will receive three times more a year from shirt sponsors than they were receiving from Pirelli.
