Inter target Alex Telles has reiterated his desire to remain at Manchester United and succeed in the Premier League amid transfer rumours, according to a report in the English media.

Whilst speaking to Manchester United’s official website, the Brazilian left-back explained how desperate he is to become a success at the English club and that the fans have shown they believe in his abilities.

“I think it’s an opportunity to demonstrate my qualities and potential here. I know Manchester United and the fans believe in me.”

Alex Telles has only spent one season at Manchester United after they spent around €15 million on the 27-year-old whilst he was a key player for FC Porto.

He made an impressive start to his United career but then Luke Shaw reached a new level and cemented himself as the number one choice for that position.

Many fans and pundits credit Alex Telles for pushing Luke Shaw to improve. He previously had very little competition for his place in the team.

Alex Telles spent a season on loan at Inter in 2015/16.
