Inter Target Nahitan Nandez Has Shown He Can Work In Simone Inzaghi’s System, Italian Media Report

Inter’s main transfer target, Nahitan Nandez, has already shown that he is adept at playing in the system that Inter wants to play under Simone Inzaghi, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Uruguayan has exhibited his tactical abilities and versatility multiple times under Leonardo Semplici at Cagliari and whilst playing for his national team.

Inter are intending to continue using the 3-5-2 system that Antonio Conte used to win the Scudetto in 2020/21 and that Simone Inzaghi has used at Lazio where he turned the team into a much more credible outfit. That is one of the main reasons he was chosen as Antonio Conte’s successor.

Nahitan Nandez has shown multiple times that he is very effective at playing on the right-hand side of a midfield five like Achraf Hakimi did, but he can also do a good job in the midfield three when needed.
