Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan can’t wait to have his move to Cagliari finalised so he can move back to Sardinia and prepare for the new campaign, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Sky Sport in Italy, the Belgian is hoping that the two clubs find a way to settle the agreement soon as the transfer has been rumbling on all summer.

It is a complicated deal because multiple financial difficulties have needed to be sorted and still need sorting out to make it happen. There was the issue of Radja Nainggolan feeling he deserves severance pay from Inter which the club did not agree to.

Now there is the potential to include Nahitan Nandez in the operation which is not implausible but adds another layer of discussions to proceedings.

Radja Nainggolan spent the last two seasons on loan at Cagliari and it is clearly the club he has his heart set on.
