Talks are ongoing between Inter and Cagliari regarding the futures of several players.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Il Giornale, who report that the Nerazzurri want to bring in Uruguayan Nahitan Nandez on loan from the Rossoblu while moves for Radja Nainggolan and Dalbert the other way are still being worked out.

Nandez has emerged as a major target for the Nerazzurri in recent days, with the 25-year-old being seen as a versatile option who can fill in both in midfield and in the right-sided role.

The Nerazzurri want the player on loan with an option to buy which would turn into an obligation should certain conditions be met (Champions League qualification and a specified number of appearances) though it remains to be seen if the Rossoblu will give the green light to such an arrangement.

The Sardinian club, meanwhile, are looking to potentially loan in the likes of Lucien Agoume and Andrea Pinamonti for next season, in addition to Dalbert whose loan with a €7 million purchase option appears close.

Nainggolan, meanwhile, is still progressing in talks with the Rossoblu over a move, with the Belgian midfielder thought to be working on a salary agreement.

As it stands the 33-year-old wants €2 million net per season on a three-year-deal, while the Sardinians are offering a two-year deal with €1.5 million per season, and it remains to be seen whether an agreement can be reached though it is thought that both parties have a will to get the deal done.
