Inter are considering their options for the arrival of a left-sided player, with Manchester United’s Alex Telles and out-of-contract Crystal Palace player Patrick Van Aanholt considered possibilities.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the two names are both on the Nerazzurri’s list for the position.

The arrival of a left-sided player is thought to be a priority for the Nerazzurri in the summer transfer market, with Ashley Young having departed for Aston Villa and Ivan Perisic’s sale also a possibility.

Federico Dimarco returns from his loan with Hellas Verona and can fill the role of both left-sided centre-back and left-wing-back should he remain in Simone Inzaghi’s squad.

However, another player with the right characteristics is still wanted for the position.

Telles has already been a Nerazzurri player in the past, having been on loan at the Giuseppe Meazza from Galatasaray during the 2015-16 season.

The Brazilian has failed to establish himself at Old Trafford ahead of Luke Shaw since joining from Porto last summer, and the Nerazzurri could look to bring him back.

Van Aanholt, meanwhile, is out of contract with Crystal Palace, and could arrive as a free agent without a transfer fee attached.
