Inter have agreed personal terms with Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez, although the two clubs have yet to find an agreement on a deal to bring the player to the Giuseppe Meazza.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the Nerazzurri discussed the player during talks with the Rossoblu earlier this afternoon.

Nandez is thought to be a target for the Nerazzurri for his tactical flexibility, with the versatile Uruguayan able to play not only in midfield but also out wide on the right, having shown his proficiency in the position under Leonardo Semplici last season.

The 25-year-old has emerged as a possible arrival to play the right-wing-back position after the departure of Achraf Hakimi for Paris Saint-Germain.

The Nerazzurri now have an agreement for personal terms with the Uruguayan, although it remains to be seen whether they will be able to reach an agreement with his current club, with the finances involved in a deal still a potential obstacle and the Nerazzurri thought to prefer a loan move.
