Inter midfielder Lucien Agoume could join Saint-Etienne this summer, with the Ligue 1 side’s head coach a fan of the player.

This according to French news portal Foot365 via FCInterNews, who report that Saint-Etienne manager admires the young midfielder and will look to bring him in this summer.

Agoume returned to the Giuseppe Meazza this summer from his loan spell with Spezia, where despite being restricted to just twelve appearances he impressed with his performances.

The 19-year-old’s immediate future has not been clear, with the Nerazzurri waiting for head coach Simone Inzaghi to assess the player, while his form for Spezia earned him numerous admirers in both Italy and France.

Saint-Etienne are among the clubs to be following the player, and the Ligue 1 side could seriously target the player in the transfer window.

However, the French side are struggling financially and would only be able to bring the young midfielder in on loan.
