Inter still consider PSV’s Denzel Dumfries to be their top target to replace Achraf Hakimi on the right side of the squad, but negotiations with his current club are difficult.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the player is also hoping for an Inter move, but that the club could struggle to reach a financial agreement with PSV.

With Hakimi having departed for Paris Saint-Germain, replacing the Moroccan is a priority in the window, and Dumfries has been reported to be one of the priority options here during the window.

The 25-year-old is waiting hopefully for a move to the Nerazzurri, although the club are only willing to offer to bring him in on loan with an option to buy this summer, a formula which his current club are not happy with, and this could make progress impossible on talks for his move.
