Inter have denied interest in Barcelona right-back Sergino Dest during the summer transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the US international is not a target for the Nerazzurri.

Yesterday it was reported in Spanish media that Inter are among the clubs considering bringing Dest in, with the 20-year-old thought to be a player who Barcelona would allow to leave in the summer.

It is thought that the 20-year-old could be an option to replace the departed Achraf Hakimi on the right side of Simone Inzaghi’s squad.

However, the Nerazzurri are only one of several clubs to be named as a possible destination for the young American should he leave the Camp Nou, and the club have made clear that they are not looking to chase his signature, and that other arrivals will be a priority as they look to replace Hakimi and strengthen the right side of the squad.
