Inter will decide on the future of young midfielder Lucien Agoume, with a loan move a probable option for the 19-year-old for next season.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the club’s priority with Agoume is to find him regular first-team minutes so that he can develop his game and gain experience.

Agoume returns from a loan with Spezia last season where he made twelve appearances including nine starts, and impressed with the quality of his performances when he was on the pitch.

The 19-year-old has also shown his qualities during pre-season, and there remains a possibility that he could remain with the Nerazzurri where he could back up first-choice midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

However, with the Croatian a fixture in the team and rarely absent from the starting eleven, Agoume could find playing time hard to come by with the Italian champions.

The player could also be offered for sale on a permanent basis, with the possibility of him going to Cagliari as part of a larger deal involving other players.

However, the Nerazzurri are still committed to the player for the future, believing him to be a significant prospect, and the most probable option is a loan move that would see him play regularly, with French side Saint-Etienne thought to be among the most interested clubs.
