Andrea Pinamonti could leave Inter as part of a deal for Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez, and should the young striker depart the Nerazzurri will look to sign Monaco’s Keita Balde.

This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reported on his show moments ago that Pinamonti could be part of a deal for Nandez with the Uruguayan midfielder ready to make the switch.

Nandez has agreed terms with Inter on a four-year deal with a net of €3 million per season plus €500,000 in add-ons, and will make the move should an agreement be reached with his current club Cagliari.

The Nerazzurri are exploring ways to make a deal possible, with the club thought to be ready to send 22-year-old striker Pinamonti the other way to cover part of Nandez’s valuation.

It remains to be seen whether the Rossoblu are interested in such a possibility, but should Pinamonti leave for the Sardinian club as part of a deal for Nandez then the Nerazzurri will look to replace him.

The likeliest option in such a case would be Balde, with the 26-year-old Senegalese striker thought to be a target for Nerazzurri manager Simone Inzaghi, who would like a reunion with the player who he enjoyed success together with at Lazio.

Should Pinamonti leave for Cagliari, the Nerazzurri will move for Balde.
