Brazilian left-back Dalbert could join Cagliari from Inter as soon as today, with only minor details left to finalize the deal that would see him depart for the Sardinian side.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 27-year-old will join the Rossoblu on loan with an option to buy worth €7 million.
Directors from the Nerazzurri and the Rossoblu met yesterday, and the progression of the deal for Dalbert was a key item on their agenda, and it is thought that negotiations brought the deal very close to a total agreement.
The 27-year-old, who has spent the past two seasons on loan with Fiorentina and then Rennes, will join the Rossoblu soon, on loan initially but with a purchase option, and is set to join up with the rest of the Sardinian club’s squad for pre-season training, possibly as early as today.
