Roma head coach Jose Mourinho wants to bring Inter target Nahitan Nandez to the Stadio Olimpico, though the player prefers the Nerazzurri who are close to a deal with him.
This according to Uruguayan broadcaster Sport890, via FCInterNews, who report that the former Inter coach has tried to lure the Cagliari midfielder to the Giallorossi, but that he has already agreed terms with the Nerazzurri.
Inter have stepped up their pursuit of the Uruguayan recently, and have agreed on a contract with the player with talks with his current club over the formula for a move soon to follow.
Nevertheless, the Giallorossi also admire the player, and it is reported that Mourinho called the 25-year-old in an attempt to convince him to reconsider so that the capital club could swoop in for his signature.
However, the Uruguayan only wants Inter, and has resisted the advances in the hopes that his move to the Italian champions can progress.
