Inter are slowing down their pursuit of Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin, with the player’s situation leading them to pursue other targets on the right to replace the departed Achraf Hakimi.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri do not look likely to try and press on with negotiations to sign the Spaniard from the Gunners.

Bellerin had been strongly linked to the Nerazzurri, with the player having agreed terms on a deal and handed in a transfer request to his current club.

However, a deal with his current club has proved difficult to reach for the Nerazzurri, who are only interested in signing the right-back on loan with an option to buy rather than on a permanent basis or on a loan with a purchase obligation as is the Gunners’ preference.

As it stands, the Nerazzurri look likely to move on from Bellerin and pursue other targets and pursue other targets in his position.
