Inter will focus on the departures of fringe squad members before making any signings, with Radja Nainggolan and Valentino Lazaro players the club hope to offload in the summer.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Nerazzurri have made a priority of getting rid of the wages of players who are not in the plans for next season.

Inter have been linked with a number of new signings in the window, with arrivals in a number of key positions still believed to be on the agenda.

However, before the finalizing of any new arrivals will be considered, the issue of redundancies in the wage budget must be dealt with, and the club are working towards the exits of several players.

Nainggolan has been linked with a move away to Cagliar on a permanent basis for much of the window after spending the second half of last season on loan with the Sardinian club, and the Nerazzurri will hope to have the process of moving him to the Rossoblu finished soon.

Lazaro, meanwhile, is not a part of manager Simone Inzaghi’s thinking for the upcoming season and the club are intend on moving him on, either on a permanent basis or on loan.

Once these two players are gone, the club will hope to step up the process of bringing in new signings in order to strengthen the squad.
