Pirelli will remain in a partnership with Inter as the club’s “Global Tyre Partner” even though the company has ended their time as front shirt sponsor for the Nerazzurri.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Italian tyre manufacturer is set to stay on with the Nerazzurri in this capacity.

Pirelli’s 26-year partnership with the Nerazzurri as the club’s front shirt sponsor has made them one of the most recognizable shirt sponsors in European and world football, but this deal ended in the summer and the company will no longer appear on the front of the club’s matchday shirts.

Their replacement will be blockchain company Socios.com, who are set to be formally unveiled as the new sponsors today.

Despite the fact that their most visible association with Inter has been terminated, however, Pirelli will still be involved with the club in the role of “Global Tyre Partner”.
