PSV right-back Denzel Dumfries remains Inter’s top target on the right side of the pitch as the club look to bring in a player in the position to replace the departed Achraf Hakimi.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are hopeful that the Dutchman’s current club will reduce their demands for his signature.

With Hakimi having left for Paris Saint-Germain, the Nerazzurri are in the hunt for a right-sided player with the right profile to replace the Moroccan’s contributions.

Dumfries is thought to be highly admired by the club, and they would like to make the 25-year-old Hakimi’s heir, but as of yet signing him has proved impossible for financial reasons.

They will hope that PSV will reduce their economic demands for the player as the summer transfer window moves forward, or that the Dutch club will be willing to accept their preferred formula and that his arrival will become economically feasible.
