Inter are considering a swap deal that would see Croatian winger Ivan Perisic leave for Roma and Alessandro Florenzi come the other way.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the deal is being considered, and could solve two dilemmas for the Nerazzurri in the transfer market.

Florenzi is one name which has emerged in the Nerazzurri’s search for a right-sided player to replace the departed Achraf Hakimi, with the Italian’s agent thought to be offering him to the club.

Florenzi returns to the Giallorossi after a season and a half on loan at Valencia and then PSG, and is not thought to be in the club’s plans for next season.

Perisic, meanwhile, is out of contract next summer, and the Nerazzurri are not ready to offer an extension to the player, preferring to offload him this summer and not to lose him on a free transfer in a year’s time.

With Perisic thought to be liked by Roma boss Jose Mourinho, he could well depart for the Italian capital, in a move which would also see Inter acquire a reliable replacement for Hakimi.
