Inter are considering alternatives to the signing of Nahitan Nandez on the right side of the team, should an agreement not be found for the versatile Uruguayan’s arrival.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the chases for Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin and Chelsea’s Davide Zappacosta could reunite if talks with the Rossoblu do not progress.

A number of names have come up during the Nerazzurri’s search for a replacement for Achraf Hakimi following the Moroccan’s departure for Paris Saint-Germain.

It is thought that the pursuit of Nandez has been stepped up in recent days, with the 25-year-old seen as having a profile that could make him Hakimi’s replacement for next season.

However, talks with Cagliari still have some way to go before an agreement for the Uruguayan is reached, and should one not be found then the Nerazzurri will turn their attention to other targets.

Bellerin and Zappacosta remain among the profiles most liked by the club, although PSV’s Denzel Dumfries and Udinese’ Jens Stryger Larsen are also still in consideration.
