Radja Nainggolan is ready to terminate his contract with Inter, and is expected to do so soon to join Cagliari.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia who moments ago on air reported that the Belgian midfielder is close to an agreement with the Nerazzurri over severance pay, and will agree to move on from the club.

Nainggolan has been linked with a departure from the Nerazzurri for much of the summer, with the player not thought to be in the club’s plans and his wages considered to be too high.

A permanent move to Cagliari has been in talks for some time, with the player having spent the second half of last season on loan in Sardinia.

However, the move has stalled, and is still yet to be complete, with both clubs having to work to overcome obstacles in discussions.

The 33-year-old is happy to go, however, and looks set to mutually agree to terminate his contract with the Nerazzurri in the coming days.

Besiktas have also offered the Belgian a 2-year contract, but it is thought that when he departs, Cagliar will be his destination.
