Crotone are interested in signing young Inter striker Samuele Mulattieri on loan, as the Serie B side look to bounce straight back up following their relegation from Serie A last season.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Calabrian club are in a good position to bring the 20-year-old in for next season.

Mulattieri spent last season on loan with Dutch second division team Volendam, where he impressed, scoring 18 league goals from thirty appearances.

The Nerazzurri and the player are considering the options for the player’s future, with his form from last season having attracted interest from a number of clubs in and out of Italy.

Crotone have joined the chase for the young striker, with the Serie B side hoping that his arrival could help them achieve immediate promotion back to Serie A.

It remains to be seen whether a deal will be done but the Calabrians are hopeful of getting the young Inter striker.
