Inter are hoping that they will be able to bring PSV full-back Denzel Dumfries in on loan with a purchase option next season, despite the Dutch club’s reluctance to allow him to depart on such a formula.

This according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who report that the player would be amenable to the switch, and his agent Mino Raiola is in talks with his current club to the end of softening their stance on a loan move.

Dumfries is one of the Nerazzurri’s top targets on the right side of the pitch, with the 25-year-old seen as having the right profile to replace Achraf Hakimi after the Moroccan’s departure for Paris Saint-Germain.

The primary obstacle to a move for the Dutchman has been that Inter are only able to sign him if it is on an initial loan with an option to buy permanently, something his current club have not been willing to agree to.

However, the player would like an Inter move, and with his agent working to convince PSV the Nerazzurri will hope that an agreement can be found during the transfer window.
