Inter could look to bring in both Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin and Cagliari’s Nahitan Nandez this summer, with the arrival of one not necessarily excluding the other’s signing.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that both players are considered targets as the Nerazzurri look to accelerate their summer transfer business.

The Nerazzurri have made the arrival of a right-sided player to replace Achraf Hakimi a priority in the summer transfer market after the Moroccan’s departure for Paris Saint-Germain, with a number of names having been linked as part of their search.

Nandez is thought to be a player who could fill the role, with the player having looked proficient when used in a right-wing-back role by Cagliari manager Leonardo Semplici last season.

The Nerazzurri have stepped up their pursuit of the versatile Uruguayan in recent days, and are hopeful of having an agreement with his current club wrapped up soon.

However, despite the Uruguayan’s ability to play in Hakimi’s role on the right, it is still completely possible that the club would still look to bring in another of their right-sided targets, which could free him up to also be used as a potential rotation piece in midfield.

Bellerin is thought to be one of the club’s major targets on the right, though negotiations for the 26-year-old are stalled and would need to be jump-started before he could arrive at the club this summer.

However, it should not be excluded that the Nerazzurri would do so and move to get a deal for Bellerin done even if Nandez’s signing from Cagliari is to be wrapped up.
