Inter-owned left-back Dalbert has spoken about the influence of speaking to Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan on his decision to join Cagliari on loan next season.

In an interview with the Rossoblu’s official site, the 27-year-old explained that Nainggolan and others have spoken highly of Cagliari for him, and that this was a factor in his decision to join the Sardinian club.

Dalbert departs from Inter on loan, with the Rossoblu a destination that he is happy with, and looking forward to showing his best for.

“I’m happy to wear this shirt,” he said, “before accepting Cagliari’s request, I heard from some friends, including Radja Nainggolan, who spoke to me very highly of the team, the Sports Center, the city.”

Nainggolan has himself spent several seasons at Cagliari, including the second half of last campaign on loan, and it is thought that the Belgian would like a return to the club on a permanent basis this summer.

Dalbert also spoke about his happiness to be with multiple other South American players in the Rossoblu squad, including club captain Joao Pedro.

“In the group there are many South Americans, including my compatriot Joao Pedro. it’s always nice when you find someone from the same country as you.”

Asked about the kind of player is, he described his main characteristics on the pitch as being offensively oriented, with the Brazilian trying to offer an attacking thread from wide areas.

“The push in the offensive phase,” he explained, “making assists for the attackers and, why not, I even hope to score a few goals.”
