Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will be without defender Danilo D’Ambrosio and winger Valentino Lazaro for tomorrow’s friendly against Pergolettese.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, D’Ambrosio will sit out the warm-up match at the club’s Appiano Gentile training ground with a left thigh injury, whilst winger Lazaro does not return to group training until next week.

A minor back complaint is also likely to rule striker Andrea Pinamonti out of the match, as Inter step up their pre-season schedule following the cancellation of their involvement in the Florida Cup.

New coach Simone Inzaghi is expected to field Samir Handanovic in goal and defenders Stefan De Vrij and Milan Skriniar from the start.

Midfielders Hakan Calhanoglu and Marcelo Brozovic will also be named in the starting line-up, although it is set to be a significantly weakened team due to late returns of players who progressed to the latter stages of international tournaments this summer.

Indeed, Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez, Arturo Vidal, and Matias Vecino will return on Monday, whilst Ivan Perisic is expected to rejoin the group in midweek.

Nicolo Barella, Alessandro Bastoni, and Lautaro Martinez are not due back for another 10 days.
