Inter winger Tibo Persyn is closing in on a return to former team Club Brugge after undergoing a medical yesterday.

According to Belgian outlet Nieuwsblad.be, the 19-year-old arrived on Friday to go through the final checks before signing an initial loan deal with a view to a permanent transfer next summer.

Persyn left Club Brugge’s youth academy in 2018 to join Inter and featured in their Primavera side, but has never made a senior appearance for the Nerazzurri.

With his future looking in doubt in Italy, the winger has returned to his former club and will link up with the first team in Belgium.

He made 10 appearances for the Primavera last season after being hampered by an early injury and a positive COVID-19 test.

Persyn will also be joined by Nice defender Stanley Nsoki, who also underwent a medical at the same time as Club Brugge look to defend their Belgian A League title this term.
