Inter have scheduled a meeting with Crotone this week to complete a deal that will see young striker Samuele Mulattieri move to the Serie B club on loan.

According to L’Interista.it, the two clubs will finalise discussions on Wednesday and the deal should be processed then, with the 20-year-old set to drop down to the second division to aid his development and find regular first team football.

Crotone, who were relegated from Serie A last season, have been looking to bolster their options in attack and opened negotiations with Inter last week to bring Mulattieri in.

The former Spezia youth product enjoyed a prolific season in the Netherlands last season, scoring an impressive 18 goals in 30 appearances for second division club FC Volendam as they reached the playoffs.

Mulattieri joined Inter from Spezia in 2018 and featured prominently in the Primavera before moving to Volendam. He is yet to make a senior appearance for the Nerazzurri however.
