Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is set to include midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu and Aleksandar Kolarov in today’s preseason friendly against Pergolettese.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, much of the attention in the match will be on new arrival Calhanoglu, who has already impressed since joining from crosstown rivals AC Milan on a free transfer.

The Turkey international netted last time out and is looking to use today’s match to cement his place in Inzaghi’s plans, as Inter seek to defend their Serie A title this season.

Elsewhere, defender Kolarov is due to return after a lengthy injury and is expected to feature in the match, held at the Appiano Gentile training ground. The former Roma defender underwent surgery on a herniated disc in May and only recently returned to training.

Fellow defender Danilo D’Ambrosio is unavailable as he nurses a minor thigh injury, whilst winger Valentino Lazaro is still isolating following a positive COVID-19 test.
