After withdrawing from the Florida Cup, Inter are rearranging their preseason plans and could arrange a friendly match on Wednesday.

As reported by Italian television channel Sky Sport Italia today, and via FCInterNews.it, the Nerazzurri are hoping to play a fixture against a Serie B team in midweek, although the identity of the club has not yet been confirmed.

Inter were due to fly out to the United States last week to take part in the Florida Cup friendly tournament in Orlando, but followed Arsenal in withdrawing due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19.

The late change of plans has seen them attempt to make new arrangements in order to build match fitness within the squad ahead of their defence of the Serie A title, starting with a friendly against Pergolettese today.

Whilst the date and opponent for the upcoming game has not officially been finalised, it is likely to take place on Wednesday and be against a second division outfit.
