Inter are interested in young Genk midfielder Pierre Dwomoh, but will face competition for his signature from city rivals AC Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the two Milan clubs are both interested in signing the 17-year-old this summer and could go head to head for him.

As of yet, Dwomoh has barely featured for Genk’s senior side, but the young central midfielder’s talents have attracted admiration from a number of clubs who have observed his performances at youth level, and the Milan rivals look set to be two of the clubs to seriously move for him.

Genk have a reputation for refining top young talents, with the likes of Kevin de Bruyne, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Sander Berge among the players who have gone on to play important roles at top European clubs after coming through the Belgian club, and the Nerazzurri will not want to miss out on another player in this bracket should Dwomoh end up being such a player, though they could face a real battle for him from Milan.
