Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti could depart on loan for Empoli this season, with the newly-promoted Serie A club interested in bringing him in.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 22-year-old is seriously considering the Tuscan club’s offer.

Pinamonti has never been able to cement a regular position for himself within the Nerazzurri’s squad, with last season having seen very little playing time under head coach Antonio Conte.

Conte’s successor Simone Inzaghi is not thought to have the striker in his plans either, and he would be allowed to leave the club on loan this summer.

A number of teams are thought o be considering making offers for the 22-year-old’s signature, but Empoli could be the most compelling among them, as they look to strengthen their attacking options in their bid to remain in the top flight and have showed interest in Pinamonti.
