Young striker Samuele Mulattieri looks set to complete his loan move to Cagliari today, with the player all ready to make the switch to the Serie B side.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 20-year-old is in Crotone to sign his contract with the Calabrian club, having flown out this morning.

Mulattieri’s renewal with Inter is expected to be announced shortly, with the striker thought to have agreed on an extension of his current deal until the end of June 2023.

He will then sign with Crotone, with a further loan move after last season’s successful spell in the Netherlands with Erste Divisie club Volendam thought to be the ideal next step to foster his development with the club.

Crotone will hope to strengthen this summer so that they can jump straight back up to Serie A after being relegated last season, and Mulattieri will hope that he can find regular game time at a senior level in Italy with the Calabrians.
