Inter are still heavily interested in signing Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin to replace Achraf Hakimi on the right after the Moroccan’s departure to Paris Saint-Germain.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri are still looking to bring the Spaniard in but can not yet reach an agreement with his current club on a loan with an option to buy.

A number of names have come up in the Nerazzurri’s search for an heir to Hakimi, but Bellerin is reported to still top the club’s list.

The 26-year-old has already agreed terms with the club and has made clear his intention that he wants to leave Arsenal and play for Inter for some weeks.

Arsenal remain reluctant to agree to Inter’s preferred formula of a loan move with an purchase option, but should they relent then the player is likely to be brought in for next season.

Nahitan Nandez’s expected arrival from Cagliari has been expected to potentially be as a right-sided player, but the Uruguayan could also play primarily in central midfield and would not mean that Bellerin could not also be signed this summer.
