Stefan de Vrij could be on his way out at Inter this summer, with Premier League club Everton interested in signing the Dutchman.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the player’s agent Mino Raiola has sounded out interest from the Merseyside club while talking to a number of English clubs, though a serious acceleration for a move is still a ways away.

The Nerazzurri have already allowed Achraf Hakimi to depart for Paris Saint-Germain and are not thought to be seriously determined to make another sale in the summer transfer window.

However, should an offer come in for de Vrij which is high enough, the club could consider selling him, with any transfer fee representing significant capital gains in the balance sheet given that the Dutch defender arrived from Lazio on a free transfer in 2018.

It remains to be seen if the 29-year-old would be willing to make the move, but the Toffees are interested and should they step up their pursuit the Nerazzurri could consider an offer and would be ready to replace the 29-year-old.
