Inter are hoping to have the signing of Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez completed by the end of the week.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the talks for the player between the clubs yesterday have come close to an agreement, and a deal could be done by Friday, and that Nandez’s arrival could be coordinated with the departure of Radja Nainggolan in the other direction.

Talks yesterday centered around the size of the loan fee involved in the deal, with the Rossoblu hoping for a large enough fee to cover the wages of Nainggolan, with the Belgian expected to complete his move to the Sardinian club on a permanent basis shortly.

Nandez will return from his vacation on Friday, and it is hoped that by that time his future as an Inter player is settled, and that an agreement between clubs will have been reached.
