Napoli could look to bring in Inter-linked Chelsea wing-back Davide Zappacosta this summer, with Genoa also interested.

This according to today’s print edition of Genoa-based newspaper Il Secolo XIX, who report that the Partenopei have joined the race for the 29-year-old.

Zappacosta has spent the past two seasons on loan in Serie A, with Roma and then Genoa, and it is thought that his current club would be willing to let him leave this summer.

The wing-back has been considered by the Nerazzurri as a potential replacement for Achraf Hakimi following the Moroccan’s departure for Paris Saint-Germain.

However, they could face competition from other Serie A clubs, with Genoa considering bringing him back after last season although his fee could prove difficult for the Griffone, and Napoli look to have also registered an interest in the player although it is not yet clear how serious they are about him as a target.
