Inter could have the signing of midfielder Nahitan Nandez from Cagliari wrapped up soon, with the two clubs ready to finalize talks over the player as early as this weekend.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that discussions are progressing quickly on the exact terms of a deal between the two clubs.

Nandez has made clear that he wants Inter, and the Rossoblu are willing to grant his and the Nerazzurri’s request by negotiating a loan move for the Uruguayan with an option to buy.

The 25-year-old has been granted three extra days vacation by his club with a mind to allowing him to arrive directly in Milan to complete his move when he returns to Italy rather than having to spend any time in Sardinia when a move away is already imminent.

Talks earlier this week involved the exact financial terms Radja Nainggolan’s move to the Rossoblu, with the Belgian midfielder set for a third loan spell, as well as the possibility of a loan move for young Inter striker Martin Satriano, and these players could be involved in setting up the final deal for Nandez, but it now looks like whichever players are involved in the deal between the clubs, it should be done soon.
