Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin is intent on joining Inter, as his agent Albert Botines is set to meet with the Gunners to try and convince them to allow the player to make the switch.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 26-year-old has his heart set on a Nerazzurri move and will hope that his agent can convince his current club to agree to Inter’s terms.

Bellerin has emerged as one of the Nerazzurri’s priority targets to replace Achraf Hakimi after the Moroccan’s departure for Paris Saint-Germain.

The player is keen on the move, having agreed personal terms with the club and handed in his transfer request at Arsenal, but the Gunners have yet to accept Inter’s offer.

The Nerazzurri are only able to sign the 26-year-old on loan initially with an option to buy, but the Gunners are not amenable to this arrangement.

The player and the Nerazzurri will hope that Botines will be able to persuade the London-based club to change their stance, and that the player’s desire for the move will prove decisive in determining the outcome.
