Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is back with Inter, and he has begun talks on the renewal of his contract.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who report that the Croatian will look to accelerate those contract extension talks in August, with his current deal set to run until the end of June 2022.

Brozovic has become a significant midfielder at the Giuseppe Meazza, having been a key player under Antonio Conte, and the club will not want to lose him either this summer or next summer when his contract is up, with a number of top European clubs thought to be interested in the 28-year-old.

The player is represented by his father and the talks over the renewal of his contract are described as optimistic by the report, who add that the player’s desire currently thought to be to remain at the Giuseppe Meazza.

The club are confident that Brozovic can be convinced and that an agreement can be found, with the midfielder currently getting back into the rhythm for next season in training.
