Inter are set to appoint former Monza, Spezia, and FeralPisalo Sporting Director Gianluca Andrissi to a role observing players out on loan.

This according to today’s print edition of Florence-based newspaper La Nazione, who report that the 58-year-old will be given the task of reporting back on all Nerazzurri player out on loan in Serie A and Serie B.

The Nerazzurri are looking to maximize the value which comes in from their youth sector, and part of his will be nurturing young talents who are out on loan and ensuring that their tenures away from the club see them develop their games and gain important experience.

To this end, Andrissi will be appointed so that the club have a clearer idea of the situations of various players who are on loan.

The experienced former Sporting Director can count among his success stories the emergence of EURO 2020 winner Matteo Pessina when at Monza, and the transition into Spezia’s first team of Samuele Mulattieri, and the Nerazzurri will hope that he can repeat these feats.
